If we restrict our sphere of influence to only where we fit in or are comfortable, we will miss limitless God-opportunities that will change our lives and the lives of others we never imagined to bless. If we’re to be salt and light in a dark world, we need to intentionally engage in the culture where we live, the schools our children attend, the churches where we worship, and the people who have leadership over us. The next time we doubt whether God can use anyone of us or others for His purposes, think about all the unlikely people God included in His plans in the Bible: Moses, Gideon, Rahab, the shepherds, the fishermen-turned-disciples, and so many more! Jesus experienced rejection and resistance throughout His time on Earth. If you are honoring God with your life and experiencing similar things, you’re in good company.”
